🌱 Permaculture Playdate

Join us for an enriching Permaculture Playdate on July 14th from 1-4 PM, nestled in the serene landscapes of an agricultural oasis in Homestead, Florida. Led by Mr. Gato, with support from Jade, this event is tailored for children aged 5-12 to explore the wonders of sustainability and earth stewardship.

🌈 Activities and Learning:

Children will immerse themselves in hands-on activities, guided by Mr. Gato, to learn basic gardening skills, discover sustainable practices, and explore new varieties of plants. From composting demonstrations to eco-friendly gardening techniques, young participants will gain valuable insights into caring for our planet. They’ll also have the chance to harvest and eat fresh fruits from all around the world.

👩‍🏫 Instructors:

🐈‍⬛ Mr. Gato: Founder of iMagi Nation Inc., a 501c3 organization dedicated to holistic education for children. Mr. Gato holds a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and has 7 years of experience working with children who have autism and behavioral issues. He is also an artist with a bachelor's degree in 3D Animation. His love for the arts and dedication to wellness-focused behavioral therapy inspired him to create the Kids Creative Classes curriculum in 2011. With a passion for creative expression and a holistic approach to education, Mr. Gato aims to inspire and empower children through various creative activities.

🌸 Jade: Founder of Ayalaweya and creator of "Resensitize the Next Generation," a holistic and musical project for children. Jade has been an iMagi Guardian at iMagiNation Inc. for the past year and a half, refining her teaching methods with the help of her 6-year-old cousin, who provides insight and ratings on her activities. Jade’s dedication to supporting the next generation is evident in her engaging and thoughtful approach to teaching. She focuses on fostering a bonding atmosphere and creating meaningful learning experiences for children. 

💵 Registration: 

Secure your child's spot with a sliding scale donation of $33-$66 per child, covering all materials and facilitation costs.

🎒 What to Bring:  

Please ensure your child wears comfortable clothing suitable for a sunny day and brings a water bottle.

👪 Parental Involvement:

Parents are encouraged to join in the activities and get involved or connect with one another, fostering family bonds and shared learning experiences. This playdate offers a unique opportunity for families to connect with nature and each other.
